THE SKI DECK has been actively promoting skiing in Southern Africa for people going skiing - to resorts such as Tiffindell and AfriSki - for the last 40 years.

Learn to ski/snowboard before you go @ our Ski Centre

All over the world (There are 22 ski decks in the Netherlands), artificial slopes are used to teach or enhance peoples lessons. So it would be wise to consider taking some lessons on the Ski Deck prior to your local ski experience - to: give you knowledge of the basics of skiing and ski equipment; reduce your chances of injury; make the most of your time on the snow (especially as you are likely only going to be there for a few days).

* HAVE CONFIDENCE & GET GOOD TECHNIQUE - The revolving slope allows continuous technical instruction while you're skiing/snowboarding

* SAVE TIME  - Be up and skiing on the first morning more relaxed and loving it.

* SAVE MONEY - Be skiing on the main slopes much sooner and get more value out of your holiday package

* SAVE INJURIES - By arriving with kilometers of ski experience you will avoid the majority of "beginner falls"

Special Course * (of 4 x 1 hour lessons @R1800) for Local Skiers, designed to take you quickly to a comfortable level.

We rent out Ski Jackets and Ski Pants. We do not rent personal items like ski gloves and ski goggles, these can be purchased from our Ski and Snowboard Shop. New and second-hand ski clothing available.

SKI CLOTHES RENTAL PRICES

June, July and August 2021

Adults: First day & Minimum Rental R200 per item; subsequent days at R120 per day

Kids: First day & Minimum Rental R150 per item; subsequent days at R90 per day - [Kids under 12]

A deposit of R500 per item is required by C/C (no Debit Cards) or cash (no cheques). Any damage to clothing will be charged for.  Please be careful when getting off ski lifts as pants can be torn. Zip up pockets so that t-bars cannot catch in them and for safety reasons. 

*Must be taken between 1 May and 31 August.
